The ordinary people - the "masses", the "mob", the peasants of the fields and factories - became educated. Became you and me.
Our grandparents fought hard through the 1920s-1940s for economic fairness, human rights and justice. FDR delivered them in the form of the United Nations, creating rights and the rule of law to recognise them and the co-operative of the governments of all the countries of the world to develop and enforce them.
It took a few decades for the parasitic extractor class to claw their way back to open dominance, resorting to disinformation and media takeover to quickly but clandestinely recover control of the US administration behind the scenes, followed by corruption of the IMF and World Bank, disabling of the UN, and media takeover, reversing the effects of education and stopping the growth of democracy.
What enabled this?
The "parliamentary immunity" that removed the legal liability of every agent, employee and contractor from applying to our employees elected and paid to manage our countries on our behalf.
